Persons eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States shall not be eligible for membership in the Men's Auxiliary.

Membership is not automatic. Once the completed application and dues have been received the application will move to membership committee who will determine the applicant’s eligibility. Once eligibility has been verified the application will then be added to the next monthly meetings agenda. At that time the membership will vote upon the applicant’s membership.

Failure to fully complete the required fields on the application, signified by an asterisk * or supply the supporting documents, when needed, or include dues can result in delays in the entire process. Supporting documents may consist of copies of discharge documents (DD-214, Separation Papers, etc.) of the person whom the applicant is related whom possibly makes them eligible for membership and/or documents that show relationship to that person. In cases where the relation is or was a prior member of VFW Post 758 full supporting documentation may not be needed. please be aware that if the relation served was not from Vermont determining eligibility can be time consuming when discharge documents are not available.
